Flash Forward is a pop-up photo booth experience designed to help people reimagine retirement in a more personal and emotionally resonant way. Debuting at the Aspen Ideas Festival, the installation invited participants to take a photo, answer a small set of reflective questions, and receive an AI-generated image and narrative depicting their future life in retirement.

Production included UX design and app development, physical booth design and fabrication, on-site hardware and camera systems, AI image generation workflows, narrative logic, inclusivity and bias testing, and real-time output delivery. The experience used generative AI to create tangible, human-centered moments, allowing Prudential to shift the conversation around retirement from abstraction to something visual, relatable, and immediate.
