At CES, Intel set out to prove its technology enables far more than processing power. The RealSense Tunnel, a 110-foot responsive video corridor, invited attendees to use their bodies to navigate three immersive digital worlds. Powered by 84 depth-sensing cameras, gestures triggered cascading sand, shattering ice, and exploding asteroids, transforming the booth into a living interface.
Production included concept and interactive experience design; architectural planning and fabrication of a 110-foot enclosed tunnel structure; integration of 84 Intel RealSense depth-sensing cameras for full-body tracking; development of three custom real-time interactive environments (Desert, Winter, Cosmos).
The installation drew an estimated 143,000 visitors—84% of CES attendance, featured in Intel’s keynote, and was named “Best in Show” by Time, reinforcing Intel’s position as a leader in interactive, experience-driven technology.
