Teddy Repair was a multi-phase experiential and digital program designed to introduce Lysol Laundry Sanitizer by putting it to work on one of the germiest and most emotionally sensitive items in a household: children’s stuffed animals. Families submitted teddies through a pop-up mobile experience, after which each was repaired, sanitized, and returned. Each teddy was fitted with a custom NFC tracking bracelet connected to a backend system and mobile app, allowing children to follow their teddy’s journey through photos and personalized text updates at every stage of the process.
Production included industrial design of the tracking hardware, development of the mobile platform and backend infrastructure, logistics planning for intake and return, repair and sanitization workflows, and national rollout across paid and influencer media. The program combined physical craftsmanship, connected technology, and operational scale to demonstrate product efficacy while preserving trust, comfort, and emotional connection for families.
